Good morning San Fran!
Up at 4:30am to grab our Oakland-Long Beach flight. I am exhausted and don’t feel well at all today. Two hours to kill at Long Beach airport (it is TINY). No gates – have to take stairs to get into the planes. Then we caught our flight to Chicago.
Check into The James hotel (one of our favourite rooms). They gave us a beautiful upgrade. Room complete with loft bedroom (raised about one foot from the rest of the room) and a media room. Giant couch/bed with a projector.
We went for some Chicago deep dish pizza at Pizzaria Uno and then went back to the room after grabbing a couple DVDs from the front desk.
We watched the new Indiana Jones until we fell asleep.
